Aerobics and Strength Training Class
Instructor: Allison Ray
Wednesday and Friday mornings 6:30 am or Wednesdays at 12 pm
Classes will begin September 3rd at the City of Wilmington Boxing and Physical Fitness Center. The class will be free for the month of September to anyone who would like to attend, as always the class is free for members of the center. Remember you must be 14 years of age and accompanied by a parent or guardian if you are under the age of 16 to work out in the City of Wilmington Boxing & Physical Fitness Center.
About the Center
The physical fitness center provides the opportunity for individuals to enjoy many of the same activities found at local health clubs for a fraction of the cost. The center offers free weights, universal equipment, treadmills, stationary bikes, stairmasters along with personal and group training. The center is along the city’s bus route, located at Robert Strange Park, just blocks from downtown and the waterfront. A perfect location for your fitness needs.

Monday-Friday: 6 am - 8:30 pm
Saturday: 8 am - 12 noon
Membership Fees
Eligible members must be at least 14 years old unless they are enrolled in the martial arts program. Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent.
City Residents $50 annually
Non-City Residents $85 annually
Physically Challenged
The boxing center has long worked with the medical community. It is noted for its physical therapy success stories with stroke patients and various other physically challenging conditions. To find out more about this unique program please call the center for additional information. Morning hours (9:00 am to 12:00 noon) are generally reserved for physical therapy conditioning.
