The City Attorney is appointed by the City Council and coordinates the legal affairs for the City. Additionally, the Attorney's Office manages litigation and claims filed against and by the City, gives day-to-day advice to City officials and employees, and drafts ordinances, rules, resolutions, contracts, and policies.
