ABOUT THE FIT FOR FUN CENTER.....
The Fit for Fun Center offers play opportunities using developmental play equipment such as parachutes, tunnels, musical instruments, balls and indoor slides. Explore your creativity through our music and art programs, check out our state of the art playground or visit the center and watch your child’s imagination and creativity come to life!
The Fit for Fun Center Staff
The 4,000 foot facility is operated by Certified Recreation Specialists who have undergone comprehensive training in order to facilitate outstanding programming in developmental play.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Monday thru Friday: 9 am – 12 noon
1 pm – 4 pm
Saturday: 9 am - 12 noon
Please note that the Fit For Fun Center is a city facility and is closed when city offices are closed.
ADMISSION FEES (cash and checks accepted)
Children 5 years and under: $4 per visit
Special Events: $5 (doors open at 9 am and events begin at 10 am)
Adults are always free when accompanied by a child.
- A ten visit PLAY CARD is available for $35 and is a great
savings option!
- A five visit card is available for $17.50.
- Ask about preschool and home day care rates!
DIRECTIONS
Travel Market Street towards downtown Wilmington. Turn left on 10th Street. The Fit for Fun Center is located on the corner of 10th and Ann Street.
SPECIAL EVENTS
For special events, the Fit For Fun Center opens at 9 am and the special events begin at 10 am.
Winter Wonderful

Doors open at 9 am. Special Event is from 10 am - 12 pm
Today you and your precious ones will delight in the sights and sounds of the Winter season. It’s a special time of year for songs, dances, and a candy cane parade. There will be a picture opportunity with Santa! Come listen to a snowy story and then watch snow be made right before your eyes! Build a gingerbread house to take home and eat! And lots more! The event is for children ages 5 and under.
Cost: $5 per child (adults free). Daycare/ preschool rate is $4.50 per child.
